Comments:
I mostly included anomalies or things I thought were funny in my highlights...the list itself was populated with movie/book/tv/comic villains and monsters like Godzilla, Freddie Krueger, Jason Voorhies, Catwoman, Dracula, etc, of course. But I'm sorry, in what world is Principal Rooney scarier or more villainous than Bob from Twin Peaks? And I continue to maintain that Tony Soprano is NOT A VILLAIN. How did Palpatine rank number 3 over Darth Vader's number 11? My husband and his friends from the store decided that this was because the new movies made Annakin so whiney that he is no longer feared or revered...How is Zool from Ghostbusters (best evil spirit name EVER) not on this list? And if we're going to include the mean kid from the Karate Kid, where's Ace Merrill from Stand by Me?

You know what would be great, is if Sideshow Bob and Twin Peaks Bob were forced into a faceoff of evil. Who would win? I think Sideshow Bob, because of his awesome singing prowess...
Johnny from Karate Kid was super-mean, but what about the guy who ran the dojo??? At least Johnny looked mildly remorseful by the end.
No one deserves #1 more than Dr. Doom. The Joker is nothing in comparison.
Me I think that Stewie must be first, the Joker is a little gently cat beside of him!
How the hell did Joker get #1? I can think of tons of villans more deserving than him. Besides Dr. Doom is way better, and so is Darth Vader.
What about Ra's al Ghul?
Anyone who questions The Joker being number 1. The Joker is basically the definition of evil. What makes a person a villain is the level of their evil. Everything about the Joker is evil. He poses things that leave something bad to happen no matter what. Darth Vader doesn't do that or Dr. Doom. He tricks and deceives and kills and laughs about it. The Joker's main component of his body is evil and therefore is the best villain.
